Our fourth day in Dublin was also Timmy's birthday, so, we tried to make it extra special by visiting two of the places Timmy was looking forward to most: the
Guinness Storehouse, and the
Jameson Distillery.
The photos in this post are from the Guinness Storehouse which we visited after going for breakfast at the
Queen of Tarts. The photos from the restaurant and bar in the Guinness Storehouse are going to be separate posts. You can view all the blog entries I write about our Dublin vacation by

The Guinness Storehouse is HUGE, eight floors!
These photos are based on
this famous Guinness poster.
The Guinness Academy is where you learn to pour a perfect pint of Guinness.
This is the view from one of the windows on the sixth floor. As a side note, in Dublin (and I assume all of Europe), "sixth" floor would actually be what Americans consider to be the seventh floor, as in Dublin they do not count the ground floor as the first floor. When I say "sixth floor" I mean it in the American sense (on the map above, it is labeled the fifth floor).
And lastly, I leave you with a short (eight second) video of Timmy playing the digital harp at the Storehouse.
