Dresses made with Butterick 5748 and 5605

Last month I posted about two vintage inspired patterns I bought, Butterick 5748 and 5605. Today I want to share some of my favorite creations I found around the web using those patterns.

  1. Speaking of dresses, I was just checking out Nordstrom's half-yearly sale online, and I was debating buying this dress, but the first thing I thought is that it would look better on you. I still may get it...but probably not, but you should definitely consider it.

    1. That is cute! I especially love the zips on the top. Unfortunately I have too large of stomach to pull it off (the peplum on my NYE dress camouflaged my stomach). Thank you for thinking of me!

  2. I love looking at and buying the patterns to make dresses and bags, but I am always so nervous to actually try and make them. Silly I know. Maybe someday. I can't wait to see them if you make them. :) I know you will look amazing in them!

    1. I love the dress below that you pinned, which is part of what inspired me to finally buy some dress patterns (I'm not up for spending $200+ on a dress). I even found the same fabric!
